### Sloppy DMCA take down strike past contributors

The whole network of 702 forks was stricken down by MorpheApp in a DMCA filing.

Revanced existed since March of 2022 and Morphe only exists since November of 2025.

Morphe is filing this DMCA because the maintainer of Revanced is pulling changes without crediting Morphe per licensing requirements.

I believe ton of fork taken down was created and hasn't been updated since before even Morphe even existed.

Because of MorpheApp sloppy and lazy take down claiming most of the forks are infringing without limiting to those with updates post Morphe creation/rename, hundreds of accounts probably has been falsely mark as having an repo taken down from violating DMCA, accounts that could have been clean and never had any repo taken down before, now has a DMCA strike marked their account, putting their account at risk of getting shut down if they get striked again because they might get seen as repeat offenders.

> Note: Because the reported network that contained the allegedly infringing content was larger than one hundred (100) repositories, and the submitter alleged that all or most of the forks were infringing to the same extent as the parent repository, GitHub processed the takedown notice against the entire network of 702 repositories, inclusive of the parent repository.
